I'm a proud Iowa native with an ISU fine arts degree. I lived and worked in the Boston wearable art industry for ten years. I began experimenting with 35mm film and fell in love with the art of photography. I was most fortunate to be friends with a phenomenal photographer - Anne Dillon - whom inspired and mentored me as Hermann Photography was born in 2010! I am fascinated by everything possible in the realm of digital photography, and love to push images to their full potential. But, the BEST part of the experience for me is connecting with people and their families as I photograph them through the years. As I watch their lives unfold before me they are all endeared to me! I strive to artfully capture genuine expressions and gestures in gorgeous images. These tiny moments that illustrate our lives!
